Introduction - No matter how hard we try, it is extremely difficult to live alone. It is practically impossible to lead a Christian life without communing and sharing with other Christians.
Explanation - Read Acts 2:42 - "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." (NKJV) Because we become partners with Jesus Christ and all other believers, it is our spiritual duty to stimulate one another to righteousness and obedience.
Application - Watching a T.V. evangelist is not the same as fellowship. There are spiritual needs that all Christians require that can only be obtained through true Christian fellowship.
Conclusion - Fellowship is a commandment of God. Hebrews 10:24,25 says, "And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (NKJV)
